What is this Survey?

This is the second year for the Survey of Human Sciences Institutions.

The survey is used by administrators to track trends and financial health in colleges of Human Sciences. The survey is being conducted on behalf of the Board on Human Sciences (BOHS) and the Council of Administrators in Family and Consumer Sciences (CAFCS) by FAEIS. The lead contact for this project is Dr. Stephen Jorgensen, Dean of the College of Human Environmental Sciences at the University of Missouri, Columbia.

Data from this survey will be combined with institutional enrollment, degree, placement, and faculty data collected in the annual FAEIS surveys to provide a comprehensive look at Human Sciences in academia. For this reason it is essential that your FAEIS surveys are complete. Survey results will be published annually. Data from individual institutions will not be available to the public or any entities beyond the FAEIS office.

The current survey year is defined as the fiscal year from July 1, 2006 to June 30, 2007.
